The name
Ludlow comes from Ludlow Street — Tim's early kitchen years in a city that doesn't sleep. Prime is the USDA grade on our ribeyes, strips, and filets. Not a gimmick. We pay more for the beef and charge accordingly.
Brentwood to Berry Farms
We opened at Brentwood Place in 2016, taking over the old Cross Corners spot. Almost ten years of regulars, Friday night crowds, and a gumbo recipe that developed its own fan club. In 2024 we consolidated into a new build-out at Hughes Crossing — bigger raw bar, three private rooms, and a 360-degree bar that wraps the lounge.
The Brentwood dining room closed. Same grill crew, same recipes, more seats. Tim said at the time he wanted one location done right instead of two stretched thin. Berry Farms agreed with him — the first few months were busier than expected.
Ludlow Hospitality
We're part of Ludlow Hospitality LLC, which also runs Ludlow's Gumbo Bar. The gumbo on our menu is the same pot. Tim's locally owned — not a chain, not a franchise. When you call about a private event, you're talking to someone who actually works here.
